Id get more microfibres than 2.

I would have that over the supernatual http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/dodo-juice/dodo-juice-light-fantastic/prod_400.html but going from the dodo i have on my car it doesnt really last too long protection wise imo.

Id stick some jetseal in aswell http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/chemical-guys-jet-seal-109/prod_484.html Ive just started using it and its good stuff. Can be used to seal the bodywork, windows and wheels :)

i already have loads of MF's, just wanted a few to stick in to bulk it up a bit.

ordered the collinite now... but thinking of getting the dodo juice orange crush for mine.

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/clearkote-moose-wax/prod_117.html I saw some very nice results off a red focus at a show that was using this mate :) Im not keen on my dodo stuff. Cant see me using it again if im honest.

Also i had a pot of this previous to my dodo stuff and thought it gave my car a mint finish:

cheers for the links, the moose wax... do you just apply it as you would any other paste wax? what does it mean by using it wet and dry aswell...?

The other option is Zaino, I'm planning on using this next time I do the F355 - http://www.pro-detailing.co.uk/index.php?p=36&c=0&m=1

good link, lot of kit for the money aswell. Was tempted by some of the zaino stuff on CYC

Im presuming by wet and dry it means that when you apply it it will be a similar composition to SRP in it being liquidy and by removing it wet you are putting it on and taking it on pretty much instantly where as taking it off dry will mean you put it on, give it some time to cure to the paint and wait for it to dry out like a normal polish would and then take it off.

Im not 100% on that but thats the way i would understand it if i was using it. But if you did get it then i would just have a play around and experiment with the amount of time you leave it on for and see if you see any difference in the finish :)

You can use a mixture if thats what you prefer but i bought a big bottle of megs last touch and use that for lubing clay up of just to spray over the car when i have given it a clean to help stop water marks :)

ok... i have some megs quik detailer in the garage anyway... is the last touch much better? so you just spray it on after you've cleaned it normally?

Last touch is just like QD basically just get 5 litres of it for £15 and you mix it at a 1:1 ratio so its alot cheaper than QD overall. When ive finished washing i spray the car in last touch then go round with a couple of drying towels and dry it.

Hi,

Mark

just water with Autoclay it was discussed on DW a while back that using QD or car shampoo mix can do more harm as it has a lower surface tension so the film of lubricant is thinned too much leading to a risk of marring... where as normal tap water (filtered if you must) is the best way forward..

(can i hell as find the link :bang: )
