gibberish, cars are for driving - not slowing down with 51 coats of wax (n)

Arse :p

I wasn't just talking about the level of cleaning just the combination of detail he has put into the car..

Look at the whole thing and you can't help but appreciate what he has done..

Come on, you know how clean my cars are so not exactly like i'd trying to defend people with a cleaning fetsih ;)

Sometimes that level of detail is just not needed. In my dads house the pipe runs for the central heating are laser-straight... The dry-lined rooms are perfectly rectangular...

Sometimes he needs reminding that it doesn't all have to be perfect.

This guy obviously doesn't have anyone to remind him that it's just a car.

So your saying not to take pride in anything that you do and to get it to a level that you are happy with

Excellent have some bodgetatstic fun at work next week now :D

pipe runs in a loft don't need to be perfectly straight, they need to be functional. You can spend 3 hours getting them perfect, or 20 minutes getting them there or there abouts. Best to spend that 2 hours 40 on something more productive, or more noticable.

I don't think you're going to convince me that spending several days washing the car is anything but crazy. I'm a realist and it's only going to get dirty again. I've more important things to do with my life so it's a balance between having a clean car, and spending time cleaning it. A couple hours a week is about as much as I can spare.

makes me laugh how he like cries over splatter from spraying even tho he said it was like a half a mm dot. and how UNDER the carpet, where normal people wouldnt even look he cries over some bits of pen or something haha.

he needs someone to give him a slap and say..... its a f**king astra

Guess that's just down to if you wanna do the job properly and be happy with it or just bang it up and foget about it..

I know how i'd be doing it

Your looking at it as you spending your own time cleaning the car maybe he doesn't have anything more important to do..

Kay- How many times do you get told "it's only a Fiat FFS" ;)

They have moved it to a different section on the forum that requires you to be a member to view. It is a bit anal all the layers he has put on it and imo 51 layers looks no different than 2. If he has the money and the time then fiar play to him for wanting all his engine bits and audio doing to the best level he can possibly get them.

hes quite a nice bloke, totally obsessed with his car, i've never gone that far, he has done a veyron, koenigsegg ccx and loads of other exotic cars

Put some graft in! but id rather just be driving it, something ive realised is nothing last forever, so enjoy it while you can,

to be honest, this has made me not want to do anything else to my car, or any car, im with hellcat on this one id rather buid a banger back to glory,

how much time has he put in!,
