Technical Cambelt sensor still not working after replacement

Hi all
After several weeks of problems starting my 58 reg Bravo 1.9jtd our mechanic found cambelt sensor showing on diagnostic he changed it & still the same, he has been brilliant but cannot find why this is the case he also checked the following crankshaft sensor, timing belt slightly out but within tolerance (had new one fitted 2yrs ago) ECU all fine, injectors all fine, glowplugs all fine, EGR valve fine also had auto electrician out to check wiring all fine, he suggested trying another sensor which we did still the same, so please does anyone on here have any ideas what else we can try, we have hit a brick wall ?

Thank you for your reply, Will have to check code with garage, but once it actually starts usually after a few attempts it runs really well

Hi sorry didn't get back to you sooner, couldn't get the code unfortunately the mechanic can't remember code he has offered to plug in again and list any faults found for me on Friday, will post them then
