Hi.

Sounds like my a/c compressor is making this noise, when climate is on, it follows the revs. Can't hear this noise in the engine bay with the hood open.

Anybody had experience with that? Because on a hot day like this i seem to have problems with keeping the cool air, consistent through the vents, which annoys me a lot.

It also seemed like it turned on and off, on and off and it's never done that before.

It makes me wanna sell this car... It's in no way been reliable so far... New gearbox, clutch, flywheel. Rear subframe is toast, windscreen actuator is also not working properly. Intercooler pipes are getting crusty. And the drive shafts are still shaking even though they've been replaced once as well as a cracked exhaust manifold...
Don't wanna spend anymore money fixing what Fiat couldn't figure out to do right from the start...

Hi, I have similar issue, the compressor itself makes load on engine so high it loses 1/3 power. In 4th gear when I release gas pedal the car behaves like I'm braking. When I look under the bonnet I can see how it turns on and off and also making sounds like toast bearing.

To ease your mind, let me tell you that I have the same issues with my car, plus not working A/C flaps.

Mine makes this sound, and has for years. Wouldn't worry about it till it packs up completely.

Exactly what i'm experiencing as well. But only on the really hot days. Never driven a car where the power difference between A/C on and off would be so radical.
