Afternoon all.

I could really do with some advice, my wife’s car. 2008 fiat bravo has an issue with opening the door from the outside.

I’ve taken the door card off. It looks like the cable is still attached. Just not sure why it’s stopped working. I have seen a few about internal issues. Is this just the revers of that or something else?

Please any help would be appreciated and get me in the good books.

I had same issue and the culprit was a little plastic part that was worn out on the cable, I've cut small washer to put it in front of it and voila, one finger door opening. No photos unfortunately :/

I really appreciate the answer, where about did the washer go, near the mech or handle?

I'll get the door cover off and make a photo for you tommorow. But bear in mind it might not be your issue, but it's worth a try.

I've just put washer under the cable in the circle, it's actually hidden inside
