Hey guys, purchased a 1.4 T-Jet 150 Sport Bravo recently, and when moving off, i notice that the gear lever moves back and forth as i start to move off and then stops. Also when changing gears a bit aggressively theres a clunk coming from the gearbox side of the car. I have checked the Engine/Gearbox mounts, except the one underneath the gearbox. Am I right to assume that that mount is to blame in my case? I have also thought that this could be the driveshafts. Has anyone else has similar issues? Thank you!

Bad news is your M32 gearbox is on its last legs. Movement in 1st very common:

Good news is it's a widely known issue. If you bought privately, expect to pay £300-£600 with an M32 specialist to get it fixed. If you bought from a dealer, this should be covered with your 3 month warranty.

Check the 'dogbone' mount.. gearbox to floorpan

as its £20..compared to £200

I'd replace the dogbone first, unless it looks very new. I've recently changed the one on the Panda, it looked fine, didn't flex much when levered, but the new one made a big difference.

Update, changed the dogbone mount, movement in 1st has severely decreased, but still moves the odd bit. RIP M32 hahahaha
