Afternoon all,

I'm hoping someone else will have had this before.

When my car went in for the handbrake cables to be changed. I had a look under when it was lifted. I noticed oil on the 'mass block' under the engine (I forgot to ask what part it was). The mechanic had a look when I pointed it out and said it might be the seals. He would have to drain it, take the bottom part of the 'block' off and then clean and seal and leave for 12hrs. He specifically said he'd need it for the 12hrs to dry.

Has anyone else had a slow leak (it doesn't even drip on the floor) before?

Thanks for any help

Dan

Ah. I did wonder why no one replied until yourself.

This is what the check showed me

Model: Bravo Sport M-Jet 150

Colour: Red

Fuel Type: Diesel

Engine Size: 1910cc

BHP: 150 BHP

Is this a glued one?

Many thanks

It doesn't. It was picked up on a kwik fit free check and I saw it when it was up for a handbrake cable change. I get no oil leak on the floor. Just the air con leaving its water (I thought it was oil until I investigated)

So just keep monitoring? Is an investigation and replacement expensive?

Many thanks for your help

Dan
