Hi all,

My wife's 2009 Bravo has issues with the climate control.

The problem is that the car is always heating unless the CC is set to LO.

I did a test when it was 8 to 10 degrees outside and it would not cool on 16.5 degrees, one notch down it goes to LO setting and it starts cooling.
It is almost as if the car wil not cool when the outside temp is lower then the temp the CC is set to.

Could this simply be the sensor on the dash under the round plastic thingy?

The outsite temp is being displayed okay so I think the outside temp sensor is fine.

The car is a 2009 Bravo 1.4 T-Jet.

Thank you for any help in advance.

Is the temperature inside the car < 16.5*C ? If so, the climate control should be heating. Even if the temperature inside the car is > 16.5C, i'd still expect some heat output this time of year.

Sorry for my very late reply!

When the cabine of the car is getting warmer/close to hot and uncomfortable, the Climate Control does not change the temperature of the air it's blowing.
It only gets cold when set to LO.

Furthermore the car demists very very poorly.

Would it be any use to replace the temperature sensor on the dash underneath the plastis bulb?

Hope someone can help.
