Hi all,

i have a fiat bravo, 1.9 multijet, 120BHP and ive been hagving boost issues for a while now and my EGR has been recently changed with no improvement. There is also a pronounved turbo 'whoosh' when letting off the gas.

the car lags every time i shift gears, turbo kicks in after 1500 or so and i think its eating fuel.
No EML illuminated - any ideas please ?:bang:
 
I had somewhat similar symptoms on my petrol bravo. Turned out to be a tiny boost leak on a boost line at the rear of the engine. Garage found it by connecting the boost pipe (post turbo) to their air compressor. You could hear the air rushing out.


First step will be to connect the car to MultiECU scan, and look at the boost vs throttle position. There is a thread on here relating to boost leaks.
