So I am not sure how or why, but I saw when I bought my 2008 Fiat Bravo 1.4 Tjet Sport that the rear Fog and Reverse light are switched around. So when I go into reverse the red fog light goes on, and the reverse light goes on when I press the rear fog light switch.

Where would these connectors sit so that I can switch them around. All the rear light connectors should all be together somewhere?

Should be pretty simple right?

Are the lights on the correct side of the car?
It may be possible somebody has fitted the wrong light units in the past

I do not think the lights will fit in the opposite sides due to their shapes. So the wiring being mixed up is my only idea that I came up with.

Reverse light is on the left hand side and fog light on right hand side. We also drive on the left side of the road (if that has any effect to the side of the lights).
When I look at images of Fiat Bravos on google I see some have the reverse light on the left, and others on the right though

What I mean is light from the wrong car as in right hand Vs left hand drive lights

To be honest I am not sure. Bought the car as is. Can't imagine that that is the case as the car is not a grey import.

If that is the case however, sure it can't be too hard to just switch the connectors on the cables around where all the lights cables come together that go the the rear of the car

That's sounds correct the the same as UK spec car's so I'd assume your countrye would be the same also driving on the left

Indeed. Any idea where the "Hub" of connectors would be for connectors for lights on the rear of the car?

I fitted a tow bar a couple of years ago. For what I can remember there must have been connectors behind the rear bumper. But you will have to take it of to have a look. I think maybe you will have to take of the rear lights and maybe some screws underneath the bumper then you carefully take it of. It is fastened with some plastic clamps also. I break some of them in the process so be careful.

Thought that might be the case. Was hoping there might be an easier way. Somewhere all the wires come together in the boot or something like that.

I hat those plastic clips so much!

if you can get workshop lift, the foglights and reverse light connectors are behind the bumper above the exhaust.

Can be seen easily if the car is lifted
