Air induction best location ??

Hi!
I was looking on FB page bravo enthusiasts, bravo tuning perfomance etc. , about replacing the standard air induction with a cone filter!
Where (in your opinion) is better to put it??
If i put it as close as possible to the turbine, inside the engine comoartment, then it will get warm air, which is not good, right??
If i put it where the old air filter is,then it will collect water/dust/debris,because its too low...correct??
I was thinking to put it in a location where it gets cold air,but at the same time, not getting water spashes/mud/dust etc..
Any ideas??

Check out what I made up, simple but effective, I have since taken the pipe red off as it was getting wet so needs a sock over it ideally and just have the ramair filter. I had mine remapped with the open air filter but I put a bmc filter in the standard air box and the power was very restricted so I had to go back to the ramair filter again.
