I have a Bravo 1.9 MJTD

Since a few weeks my doors wont lock properly.
9/10 times when i press the key it doesn't lock my car (it does flash).

1/10 times it does lock completely.

Brought it to a mechanic and he says it has something to do with the central computer and he can't fix it. Told me to go see the Fiat dealer to hook it up to a computer of them to fix the problem.

This seems strange to me since it DOES lock 1/10 times.
Unlocking with the key never gave a problem (also when manualy locked).

Does anyone know if he is right and if it is solvable by simply bringing it to fiat to do some computer magic?

I have a feeling a lock in one of the doors is not responding properly.

Can anyone tell me how i can open up the door so i can look inside it and see if the motor is not working correctly?

No one an idea? Don't want to bring it to the dealers and be poor after. Hope some recognizes this problem and can give a tip.

Hi m8 I had a similar issue but got mine fixed under warranty,
They said they had to get someone fiat to come and recode the central locking module.
Not sure if there is some sort of key fob reset procedure or if they have to connect it to a computer and recode it that way.

Stop the car, remove the key from starter contact and with key in your hand, lock the car from lock button of your key, and watch if something appear on car display.
