I’ve got a 2007 Bravo 1.9 multi jet diesel 150 sport that keeps cropping up with code P0237 when under load at high rpm. I’ve traced and fixed a couple of boost leaks and the egr has also been deleted. Also ran a carbon cleaner through the engine but that didn’t do anything. When the code is cleared it goes like stink but on one duel carriageway near me that is on a medium incline as soon as you get above 4K rpm it goes into limp mode and throws the code. Soon as you stop and turn the engine off and on again you regain most of the power but not all of it until the code is cleared. I’m gearing up to do a induction side leak test/vacuum test but if that doesn’t show anything, which I suspect it won’t, then I’m a bit stumped.
If any of you folks could point me in the direction of something I’m missing or something you know of I would really appreciate it.

Ben

Ok update, something around the inlet manifold is leaking. I can’t see it by eye but using my bore scope camera I can see a hex shape coupling or something similar going into a round hole. I have no idea what part it is but does anyone have an exploded diagram of the inlet manifold and the surrounding components or even pictures of it?
Thanks
Ben

eLearn CDs are usually a great source of such information. Find the ISO for your car online.
