Hello,
i have two question about 2009 Bravo 1.4 Tjet 120ps.

First - has anyone wiring scheme for this model? Specialy I need to know about relay - which relay for what is it? Especialy where and what number is relay for starter?

Second - can i crank and start the engine with faulty gearbox ECU, or start a car engine with take down for repair gearbox ECU?

Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english
Greeting from Bulgaria

Yes Dualogic, Yes Gearbox M20 ECU.
I bought car with problem in gearbox ECU.
In parallel with this, car not cranking engine starter.
Start up engine only with lead directly on starter.
Thats why ask, and thinking is broken ecu reason to starter not cranking, or car have two problem - broken gearbox ecu and problem with starter?

Thats why i ask, if gearbox ecu it is not on the car, can i start engine with car key, or is prevent from eletronics, because gearbox ecu missing?

The engine won't start as long as it doesn't know the gearbox is in Neutral/park.

About the wiring:
download elearn (digital service manual)... it has the wiring, connectors, pins, wire colors etc .... not sure if there is a specific dualogic wiring for the bravo... but you can surely find it in the other fiats that use that gearbox... like the Stilo/GP.

Basicly main problem is gearbox ECU.
I can't connect with MES to read info.
Connect to main/engine ecu and read just one error code:
P1302 - Gearbox type recognition - invalid signal.
Anybody know what thas mean......no info for Dualogic gearbox that error code.

Thanks

P.S. From my understanding relay is in starter and get command directly with wire from engine ecu?

#9 is the throw out solenoid ..and also completes the starter circuit.

But that wire is to thick (about 5mm in diameter) to be directly going to the key switch .... there should be another relay.

For get that part...the starter circuit si probably ok... fix the issue with the gearbox... does that ecu get the power and grounds it needs? start there.

I found a M20 pin connector scheme/M20 Training academy/, test with multimeter an everythings is OK - ground is not shown there, but i guess is body of gearbox ECU?
So.....thinking ECU is faulty....?
BTW, check voltage on CAN L and CAN H on same connector....2-3 volts.....is that ok?

NOT OK

Can network info is digital...so 0&1.... you need a oscilloscope to read that.

Check the can info both at the gearbox ecu and at the other end...where it connects to another ecu body/engine.

What U mean with
"Check the can info both at the gearbox ecu and at the other end...where it connects to another ecu body/engine."
How to check?

P.S.
Is gearbox ecu interchangeably with ecu from alfa romeo 159 2.2jts selespeed?

Many question but here i can't find expert :(

Manual says TCU is wake up by driver door opening switch. Where is this switch, because on TCU pin2/signal from driver door opening swich/ i measure with multimeter constant 0.06V, no mater how many time i open/close/open door?
Forget about just one thing...with gearbox ecu on the car, connect to main ecu ang get P1302 - gearbox type recognition - invalid signal.:bang:
With Gearbox ECU off the car, get P1302 and U1601 - can network no signal :bang:

News - old ECU is given to service...eventualy to find is brick or not.
Today find ECU second hand, and tommorow hope, try on a car.

Have a application....can someone with same car and dualogic to take picture on a board with fuses and relays, in car, down to stering wheel, and board with fuses and relay in engine room..

Thanks

Old ecu is brick. Car start, N displayed on dashboard, but still not working Dualogic.
Have 3 error.

P0904
P2906
P0928

Second error - found broken sensor, waiting for part.

But first, third and four error?

Take another ECU from Bravo 1,6MJET Dualogic.
Take two working Hall sensor.
Every error code gone, except P0904.
Wire is ok, + - and signal wire check with multimeter to TCU, but suspect is conector to sensor.
Can anybody tell me what type/standart is connector to get new one оr what I missing with P0904?

UPDATE:
replace wire connector to Selection Sensor and no more Error code :)

Bad news:
Try 1st gear - Ok
Try 2nd gear - Ok
Try reverse gear, on dashboard display R, but car goes forward :(
Try calibration with MES, but give me some error:
Production/Service final calibration
COMPLETED
Error due to absence of suitable conditions

Any ideas?

After try several times calibration with MES, no succes.

Try calibration with AlfaObd......first try and everything is Ok
Case closed :)

Hello again, everything is Ok for now except one thing:
Everytime from 5 to 6 gear have flashing display with P0720.
If going down below 2000rpm on 6th gear, error disappeared.
After reaching 2000rpm only at 6th gear error come again.
Any help for this?
