Please I'm begging someone to tell me where the hell the dashboard fusebox is to replace a blown dipped headlight bulb. I have a UK (right hand drive) version of the vehicle and no one seems to have an answer... It must be there somewhere... But where???

Why do you need to check the fuse? Are you positive that bulb is not blown? If that's the case, it could be one other thing. When my bulb died, I replaced it with new one, and new one didn't work so I suspected the fuse is gone too. But it wasn't. So, in short, the problem was the ground wire on the headlight bulb position place. There is a +12V wire that is attached to the bulb directly, and there is a ground wire which is attached to the housing of bulb sitting Place. I accidentally removed the ground wire when I was removing the blown bulb.

The fuse box is right up behind the glovebox in my car, mine’s a RHD also. My manual also shows it as being behind that cubby hole right of the steering wheel but it isn’t. Perhaps the manual only relates to LHD versions?

Yes you need to open the glovebox remove retaining screws knock out / lever out the hinge pins and it will drop down upside down revealing the offending box. My dealer changed a fuse for me recently in 5 mins flat at no charge so sometimes you do get great service.

It's in the glove box open box pull pins out at the back comes off it's there don't waste your time looking by the steering wheel

I'm guessing it's sorted by now but just in case anyone else is reading this later, even with the manual, it might be worth knowing that there are also rubber stops that need flicking out/in before it just drops down like the manual suggests. Cos mine didn't just drop. They're fairly obvious if u look down the sides of glove box, but there weren't initially obvious to me!

I managed to extract the wing mirror heater fuse without having to resort to dismantling the glovebox. If you dont mind lying down in the footwell with your torso and legs hanging out of the door, you can get by with a torch and pair of needlenose pliers.
