I have a Bravo 1.9 Mjet 150 Sport with 92K on it which had started to baulk going from 3rd to 4th gears and started jumping out of 4th gear a week ago.
So, I left it with a local gearbox specialist who confirmed that the 4th gear and 3rd to 4th synchro hubs need replaced.
However, it is NOT an M32 gearbox, it's a Fiat own brand gearbox (which I thought the M32 was also made by FPT too but anyhow..). The parts are only available from Fiat and they won't sell the individual gears or hubs separately. Fiat want £1375 +Vat for a complete mainshaft assembly which is pretty much the value of the car....:bang:

So, does anyone know where I can get individual parts for this box or has any experience of a 1.9 Mjet Bravo with another gearbox other than an M32 in it?

Allegedly it is also not shared with any other Fiat car such as the Doblo's etc..

Is it 5 or 6 speed?

Depending on the answer, it's either a C530.5 or C530.6 gearbox, and is meant to be superior to the M32 that the TJet models are plagued with (which is a GM box I believe...).

I feel like a second hand box might be the easiest way forward; If it's 5 speed, this shouldn't be too much of an issue. The 6 speed could be. Could the parts not be fabricated?

It's a 6 Speed. That's great info thanks as I'm struggling trying to even get a secondhand box as all the breakers assume that it's an M32 box.

Just as an update, the gearbox was a fiat/alfa box with the same internals as a 147/156 and I managed to get a secondhand 147 box as this type of Bravo box is as rare as hens teeth. Unfortunately, the clutch mechanism is different as are the external casings so the guys at the gearbox place swapped the 147 internals into the Bravo casings. New clutch and a CV boot included, their bill was £520 which was reasonable I thought. The secondhand 147 box was £150 delivered. Reasonably large bill but there was a lot of work done so I'm happy that the car will live on for another while. (y)

Yes, just to the right of 6th. My daughter's Tjet150 has it beside 1st which is the M32 GM box apparently.
