Hi guys,

When changing my oil next time, I want to take off the sump to make sure the strainer isn't clogged with carbon or anything. Tried removing it last service, but couldn't get through the sealer on it! I've heard about the gearbox coming off to remove all the sump bolts. Is this the case on the 2.0 diesel?

Thanks a mill,

Hi mate I had a similar problem on my 2008 1.4 petrol bravo.

You have to remove the 4 gearbox housing bolts and there is one little 10mm at the top of the cover for the flywheel.

Hope this helps

Gearbox housing bolts - do you mean the bell housing bolts?
What a stupid design [emoji23][emoji23]

Thanks a mill!
