Hi all

I tried to search but have struggled, so wondered if anyone could help.

Basically if the car is sat for a couple of days, the brake pedal loses all pressure until pumped a few times. Once done the brakes operate as they should.

Any ideas?

If you have Bravo 198 you definitely have ABS. If it looses "pressure" in brake pedals, or - better to say - it is possible to push the brake pedal to the floor, it means there is some sort of leak in system.
Check the brake fluid level, check calipers for leaks, check hoses...

Yes it has ABS, and the fluid level appears to be exactly as it was when I bought it

This is not good and sounds like a master cylinder problem or possibly a servo fault. In any event get it sorted. Fiat agents will be able to diagnose. You are tempting fete and risking a brake failure or pedal lock amoiunting ot the same thing by continuing to use it. Get the system bled using a pressure or vacuum brake bleing kit and see of that resolves it as the first step. Good luck
