Hi Guys
Does anyone know whether the steering wheel controls on the bravo are analogue or digital?

My car is a 2009 dynamic with blue and me?

Any help would be great :)

Some come with the can bus interpreter/converter... for some you have to buy it separately, i'd ask the seller.

yes I bought a xtron head unit specific to the bravo which came with a canbus adapter and stated it is steering wheel control compatable so i assumed it would work with the bravo

It doesnt.... the wheels turn slowly in china, all i have heard so far is it works with analogue controls. I am still waiting for a responce regarding using digital controls

apart from that the head unit works perfectly

A proxy alignment might be needed, so the body knows there's a different headunit.
Maybe try that if you haven't.

If he is using a chinese unit - canbus wont pick it up.
The adaptor simply converts the digital canbus to analogue.

You have to program the chinese headunit manually, there will be a method for it within its settings, you simply push each button and you map it to what you want it to do from a list of functions in the chinese headset.

It will be in the instructions or the settings menu if its in english.

A few people on here have done this and also done it on the stilo.

hth,
Dan.

Thanks Dan

I have been into the settings for the steering wheel on the head unit but the instructions that came with it were blank where that section was.....I think i need to do some digging around lol

Yes I have the canbus controller but it looks like i need a steering wheel iso adapter aswell?
Still waiting for a reply from xtrons :(

xtrons got back to me and its looking like the canbus adapter might be faulty as it should be plug and play......... so now back to chasing the seller

Damnscouse - yes i found one of those adapters but hopefully i will get the canbus adapter replaced
