So lastnight I put the rear window down for the first time in about 2 years, then when putting it up it made a horrid sound and stopped going up.

I then hit the down button, and it started to go down before stopping 1/3 the way.

This morning I removed the door panel and had a look, the cable was a birds nest around the pully.

I've removed it all and everything seems ok except there is no tension in the cable when I respool it.

Anyone got any information on the cable and respooling or perhaps my cable somehow got stretched and thats why I can't get a nice tight wind on it.

Incidently when trying to respool it about 1/3 an inch too short from getting a final wrap to make sure it doesn't unspool when tryin to reinstall it.
