Hi all.
I'm new to forums so forgive any silly errors.
I have a 2007 1.4 Bravo Active and never had a single problem until this evening. I've turned on the headlights and went to turn the aircon on to help clear the windscreen and the air direction dial is not illuminated.
Obviously the lights have failed.
Is it possible to replace these and if so, does anyone out there know how to do it?
I'll go to a garage if I have to but I'm keen to learn how to maintain my own beloved Bravo!

Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

I reckon this will happen to every Bravo owner, eventually. Fiat must have used the cheapest bulbs they could find or something.
Anyway, its not difficult to replace these, but you will have to be very careful so you dont break anything. I replaced the same bulb on my moms Bravo, but I was never able to refit this one (picture) and I didnt want to take the risk of breaking it.
Here's a guide for you:

You dont need to remove the front cover of aircon assy.
On the back side of the aircon assy are the sockets for bulbs.
Simply rotate it and pull out and change the bulb.

It's a 10+ year old car and a filament bulb - you can't really complain too much when it goes!

Give it a good hit with the hand, it have cured it for me a couple of times ?
Burnt filament will stay burnt even if two ends of it will get in contact temporarily. So your method resembles curing diarrhea with toilet paper

Ok. But those bulbs of mine has stayed on for a couple of years since last they gave up. I didn't say it was the best way.

I imagine that Tomaz was referring to that there might have been a lose contact with the bulb that needed resettling with a sharp tap of the bulb holder not a cure for a burnt out bulb ;)

Having changed mine a couple of years back the guide posted is excellent. Just follow it to the word. You will probably snap one of the retainers on the surround to the dials but there are six so don't worry.
