Hey guys, used to be on this forum years ago when I had a 1.2 Fiat Grande Punto

I'm now considering getting a 2008 1.9 MJet Diesel Bravo, 150bhp model

First thing, I want more power from it
Secondly, I will be removing EGR valve, and possibly DPF, although I've read conflicting statements on whether this car has them or not

I've looked at the TMC kit's for the plug and play piggyback ecu.
At £358 it's a lot of money, especially for the fact it doesn't seem to mention anything about disabling EGR in the software

I've found a remap company called Quantum Tuning, and they are offering Remap, EGR and any DPF software delete if needed and speed limit removal for £250, power figures also seem to be marginally higher with this route

What would people recommend more?
All advice is appreciated
EXCEPT for "DPF/EGR removal is illegal blah blah"

Thanks Guys

The TMC "chip tuning boxes" are just another sensor bodge box and cannot be reommended. They can't do a proper EGR or DPF delete either. They cost about the same as a remap so why bother? If it's worth doing it's worth doing properly.
I assume that this is not for road use...
