I own the repair kit!

Thank you.
I'm hearing a noise from the motors when the AC unit starts, but I have hot air on the left side, and I believe there's no air using the low arrow.

I will take it for repairs the next week but I don't want to lose time, so I want to have all the motors just in case...

Hi Lord4

How many hours did you spend to do It?.

In the metal chassis covering the heater box bolts and screws are extracted from inside or from the engine bay?. My dealer said me more 16 hours are needed to do it. Is it true?.

Cheers

So... We tried this on a LHD Bravo. Bought three cogs of E-Bay. They are 3D printed instead of glued like the original ones from FIAT.
Took us (my son and me) the better part of four days. We removed the complete dash and steering and even then access on the three motors on the leftside was impossible. To get the metal under the dash away would require removing the doors as well we thought, so we carefully (as not to struturally damage it) made a few holes in the metal part.
Then changed the cogs (all three broken in two) on the leftside and checked the one on the rightside (already replaced by the previous owner, accessible in minutes) which was in great shape.
Put everything back together electrically and did the self test (auto and mono simultaniously within second from turning the key to MAR). No more faults:D
Then connected it to MES to clear all old faults.
According to the chatgestation it needs a secondhand compressor now before it can be recharged, but we hope the daughter and son in law are happy now.

Result..!! Well done

Auto and mono..

Is this a recalibration mode?

Shame you got the bad news at the 'chargestation'..
But at least you now have control of the dashboard ventilation again (y)

Yes it is Charlie. I'm still hoping I can control the actuator with MES, but I need the car here again for that. Son in law was told the clutch for the compressor was not working.
Some how I think that would have thrown a fault in MES, but there was none.
But because it didn't go as cold as expected I told him to get it regassed.

Connected to MES this morning. Found two faults regarding the flapmotors (again), but they cleared after the relearnprocedure in MES. No pressures could be read though and no clicking of the relais when trying the compressor actuator in MES.
Looks like a new (used) compressor is needed.
Fuse was ok. Don't think there is a relais for the compressor in the fusebox, but part of the compressorcoupling itself.

Now we wait...

Hi,

Have you replaced the motors after all? Have you got the parts number?
Thx

Yeah sry, first time chatting on forums. Its the same motor for all functions? I am thinking that if i do the effort of removing the dash, might as well change the motors. I have this issue for a while now..

I bought all the motors (5 total) for about 240.00 Euros on June of 2020 and replace them all for a cost of about 200.00 Euros, including the installation of the original car alarm that I bought only 90.00 Euros and I don't have to worry anymore. The new ones are improved and the plastics aren't breaking so easily.

Hi, had the classic issue of hot air blowing from passenger side and climate control/air-con not working. Shop managed to get it resolved and everything works as it should now. However, I still get the on-off whirring from the passenger footwell area which sometimes stops after a couple of seconds but sometimes keeps going with various climate settings.

Going the way of if it ain't broke don't fix it route but just wondering what it could be?
