Technical Bravo climate control flap actuator motor replacement

So the weather is finally nicer today so I tried to get this job done.

I've managed to took apart most of the panels - however I could not remove the glove box and could not locate the motors.

I've removed the screws from the right and left - both the small ones and the large once under the door + on the sides and the one hiding inside that hole on the right. I still can't pull it out and I am not sure what is holding the box in.

Otherwise other panels were removed.

At this point I've took a good look at both right & left sides and I can't see any motors.

This is the view from the right (passenger) side, towards the center. Took from under the glove box I can't remove. You can see the band that limits the glove box door + Denso logo on the plastic housing in the middle where I thought I would see motors.

And this is the view from the left (driver) side... can't see any motors either?

Please help my car is in pieces right now.

The motors are higher up, in line with the dash.

The glove-box, if i remember correctly, after you remove all the screws (there might be some inside the box) you have to unclip/pry the glove-box from the top part.. tilt it down a little, then unplug the light connector.
I see you have something in the upper compartment, is that the BlueAndMe unit?..whatever it is, you need t remove that first.

Why not get eLearn? so you can get nice info like this:
-View attachment glovebox.pdf
-View attachment mixingMotor.pdf

Thanks!
I actually have eLearn but can't find where all the procedures for removing and assembling stuff are!

Ta will be trying this the weekend .... witch actuator Controls the air temp ?

So the weather is finally nicer today so I tried to get this job done...

Hy, could you do this project?
If I'm right your car is left hand drive as mine.
And I can't able to get the actuators because the steering wheel and some other pieces are get in the way.

There is anybody who can fix the actuators in a left hand drive Bravo?

After finally managing to remove the glove box I've looked at what seems to be the AC unit and no matter how much I looked at it I could not spot any but one motor (which seems to be working fine BTW). Is it possible that they are located at a different place? My car is the automatic transmission type.

Included are pictures of the view after removing the glove box. Any suggestions?

Hi Slow Rider

According to we have been talking by private message I am get in stuck at the same point than you. In fact, I think the only way to access to the heater control box is uninstalling the dashboard in our model.

I am not going to a dealer to fix this issue because the bill will be more expensive than my car.

If someone knows how to uninstall the dashboard it would be very useful.

Thanks.

@ aurick86 - Thanks! I will check if this also true for the Bravo I have. Right now it's in the shop for having the clutch changed after 140k.

Hi
In our Bravo there is a metal under dashboard covering the heater box so unfortunately it is not possible to get access to the actuators. The only way is removing dashboard and this metal cover.
Some people talking about drilling this metal covering to get access but I don’t know if this a right way to fix it.

Remove Sony then remove the mask with buttons -ten screws I think.
This flap will go out with the mask

I realised there is no need to remove these panels to access screws to remove console. After having removed glovebox and console I will tackle the actuator. I have decided to drill a hole in the diecast bracket that surrounds the heater box. In most cases the problem is not the motors but the plastic gear I have been told.

Can anyone tell me which actuator controls flow to the footwells and which one controls flow to either side of the cabin (Bi-zone) as I currently experience one side hot and one side cold. Thanks

Hello my digit air conditioner fitted Bravo claims "B1901 - Windscreen motor feedback" error message and the windshield demisting is weak very much.
According to my mechanic, the white plastic coupling is in good condition. The actuator motor may be off. Can You please tell me what item numbered actuator I may need? The 120° angle version or the 150° ?
Nobody knows exactly, even the exploded view diagrams are nontransparent in this matter.
Thanks
