It fell off on the road somewhere, **** do I know where it's gone but I don't know what it's called to get a replacement. Anyone want to enlighten me? IMG_1573.JPG

Can't find it anywhere! Elearn unhelpfully just calls it 'Moulding on front pillar':

Only suggestion is to find someone breaking a Bravo on ebay and ask if they've got the part.

How did it happen out of interest? Had you removed it prior?

Yeah removed it to do some wiring that I didn't even end up wiring anyways, was trying to find a way into the engine bay because I can't find a hole through the firewall

Guys.. Hi I am new in the fiat group.. Got Bravo 1.6 M-jet 105hp :d just saying.. This is probably not the place to ask but I didnt want to open another thing just for question stupid as mine.. BUT.. I have concerns about the passenger air bag in the bravo.. As far as I can tell when the bag deploys I will have to change the whole black part of the dash (the top one).. Is that true because the rest of the cars have very visible air bag covers and that is not the case whit our beloved italian.. So yes :d that was my question.. Sorry if I wrote where I am not supposed to do so but..

If the passenger airbag deploys in a collision the car will no doubt be written off so I wouldn't worry too much

The thing is that I d9nt trust air bag technology that much.. And if I get a little hit I am afraid I will lose my dashboard :d also I am covered by insurance and the front will be repaired but not the interior.. Not this gasping whole in the dash.. That is why I am asking.. Also my Bravo is a taxi and I can't afford to turn it off and risk the life of another person just for one material piece of something

Ah yes.. Also in Bulgaria its very VERY hard to find Bravo parts.. Nobody drives them.. :d they dont like fiat because they think they are going to break

The airbag will not deploy in a small bump. It needs a big bump to operate, as in Europw they are an additional restraint to the seat belts.

In some American states seatbelt wearing is not compulsory. They have two-stage airbags as a result, often triggered by sensors in the front bumper. There have been a few instances of airbags going off in car parks, but even then it is a significant bump.

In Europe, where seatbelt wearing is mostly compulsory, the seatbelt is the primary restraint, absorbing most of the impact forces as it stretches. If the impact is severe enough, the airbag will be waiting for you as you get there. They are self-contained, so the trigger sensor is in the airbag device. It is an inertia device, requiring considerable force to trigger.

So don't worry about it. As said above, if the airbag has gone off, the front of the car will be well squashed.
