I notice my Bravo's A/C(fully automatic) isn't blowing a strong stream of air and the blown air isn't nearly as cold as that of my other car. Do others have this problem?
The internal air circulation isn't working and it's pumping in air from the outside and this exasperates the problem but still not to the point that it becomes comparable to a Peugeot's much stronger A/C.

Do you recall the status of the a/c back in the past or it's always performing like that, every car a/c performs better with driving than idling anyway you should check the a/c compressor and the belt, also check on the refrigerant level, maybe needs more additions, maybe the Peugeot's a/c is better, I think every car differs, but someone confirm this to us

I have had the car for 2 years and it has always been like that. It used to be actually worse but i took out the A/C radiator and cleaned the sludge that was blocking it. It got a bit better and is passable now. The refrigerant level is at the maximum - i took it to a professional to look at and he measured the pressures as being optimal.

My AC has air temperature on exit on front vents 11°C. Car idling and standing still. That's from the cold starting the car. It takes few minutes to reach that temperature, since dashboard and rest of the interior was hot. Outside temperature was 32°C. Switching to recycling air makes not big difference in temperature of cold air. It just cools down the cabin faster. Maybe this helps as a reference. Bravo 1.6 mjet year 2011.

My dad has Suzuki SX4, since I bought Bravo in 2013 I though, that AC is not "strongest" and it is true if I compare Bravo with SX4. Although bowth of them reach air vent temperature with AC on around 10 °C and chosen speed of fan to cool down the cabin is different (lower in Suzuki).

I once drove the car to Greece in June and it was 39 deg.C outside. The airconditioning was just barely noticeable. In similar conditions, my other car fares much better. I guess the A/C is not the Bravo's strongest point.

The car is beautiful, rides well, is very economical(6.8 l/100 km city driving - no City steering wheel) but i don't like the A/C and the seats aren't comfortable for long rides. I drove the Delta 3 and its seats are far better.

It does sound like your A/C/HVAC is broken in some way. Does the heater work correctly in the winter? Is the output air temperature the same at all of the vents?

Running the system on LO with a reasonable fan speed should get the car cool pretty quickly.

Any of you guys solved this? Not going to suffer thru another summer, I got to get this fixed. (Don't like the idea of a mechanic taking apart my dash, but I'll do what it takes.)

Sometimes when making a turn (very low speed, e.g. U-turn) with the AC on, I feel like the vents blow "properly" very briefly, then it's back to the "whatever" mode.

The heating and ventilation in the bravo is not its strongest point. It's a carry over from the stilo which was also very poor (a missed opportunity by Fiat to fix this when releasing the bravo). My air con isn't great either and it's been like that since it was 18 months old. It comes out cold but not ice cold and takes a while to bring the cabin down to a nice temprature in the summer time. I did re-gas the system last year but it's still poor. And it's the same for the heating too I have to have the blowers on halfway to get a good dose of heat out of the vents and if I have it set on the footwell setting my feet never seem to get warm.

While we are on the subject does anyone else find their auto climate control switching from windscreen to footwell automatically by itself? This is something my stilo did so I'm assuming it's suppose to do that.

We own a 2016 Alfa Giulietta, which is basicly the same car, and the A/C is blowing ice cold!
As the car is black, with black interior as well, it's a must to have a good working A/C.
Important to change the interior filter EVERY year.
I recently changed the original Alfa (Fiat) filter for a MAN active carbon filter, for some extra protection.

My Bravo A/c was poor when new to me - 1 year old- it went to Fiat who said a/c isnt a guarantee repair......

Anyway Desira Norwich did a very reasonably priced recharge of the system and added a dye to check for leaks. There were none. It has worked perfectly for 4 years since and runs ice cold even when its over 30C outside. Why Fiat couldn't supply the car properly charged with refrigerant escapes me completely. Its clear the system its self it right up to the job in terms of ability as you would expect from a Mediterranean based supplier.
