Technical Cruise control not working?

Technical Cruise control not working?

The brake switch actually has 2 switches in side.. when one is opened the other should be closed.

You should also test those wires back to their connectors in the ecu (the brake and clutch switches).

As long as the green light is on and you can see on that scanner that the speed increase is working the cruise control should work ( as long as there aren't any other faults with stuff like car speed detection, brake clutch switches).

I had success after having done a throttle relearn - after that cruise control worked. Same symptoms as described by you. The procedure is: switch on ignition - do not start the car - wait for one minute. Then turn ignition off. Wait one more minute. Then start the car and wait a minute. Then drive.

To kick a year old thread: I almost have the same problem.

The situation: I drove to a forum member of a dutch Fiat forum to have my ECU remapped. On my way to him, I could use cruise control just fine (even a minute before arriving). During the remapping, we found out the ECU had been messed with before (before I bought it), so the car wouldn't start after the remap. Then, after putting the original map back, he tried to remap the ECU with the map of another vehicle with the same ECU. After that, the car worked fine again (couldn't test the cuirse control at that moment). On my way home, I wanted to activate the cruise control, but no light, no message on the display and no reaction on setting the speed.

So I checked at home with MES and the 2 brake and 2 clutch switches are reading pressed (when pressed) and released (when released).
When I tried to read the cruise control stalk actions, no action shows up in MES. When I turn the switch on the stalk, it doesn't show up in MES, like none of the other actions. In the Body Computer, cruise control (both "until 2009" and "from 2009) is enabled.

I tried to turn on the cc light manualy in MES in the actuator section of the ECU, but no light shows on the dash.

There are no errors in the car (except for the radio receiver node being removed, because I changed my radio unit for an aftermarket android radio, but cc has worked fine with the new radio unit for months), so that is no indication as well.

I can do a proxi alignment, but I don't have the security code of my car. If I can live with a different country alarm mode and indicator command (if it was changed), I have no other risk when executing a proxi alignment procedure and I don't need the security code for any other reason?

Also I read about resetting the self learned functions in the ECU. What risk do I have when executing that?

It is really strange that my CC has worked driving to that guy, but it has stopped working completely when I drove back home? At this moment I can only blame the remap, thinking that the map of the car originaly used, doesn't had cruise control, so it won't see it at all without a proxi or resetting the self learned functions. Am I correct at that point?

Car: Fiat Punto 1.3 Multijet 16V 2013
ECU: Marelli 8F3
Dashboard: Lauberhorn (Blue & Me)
Body Computer: Delphi (199) MY09

I am really stuck at this point and really need your help.

Thanks in advance.
