Hi guys new to the fair scene and recently bought a bravo 08 plate.

None of my cigarette lighter devices for in the cigarette lighter fitting. Is this a common thing? It doesn't look like anyone I've seen before, is it a broken port? Is there a adapter I need?

Losing my mind here thanks for helping !

P.s I know 0 about cars lol

Hmm, that doesn't look original, where is that?

edit: Ignore me, I thought it was down by the handbrake!

There are 2 different standards for these power sockets, they're similar but not identical so not all devices will fit both.

They usually have a little cover which covers in when not in use. Yours doesn't seem to have it. So could be a replacement one. Wouldn't be too difficult to replace it with a genuine or another type to fit your device

Mine looks identical to this and doesn't appear to work either...is this hard to replace

How hard is it to remove that lower panel that contains the cigarette lighter....do I have to remove the heater control panel etc...or can a go in via the gear lever

Gear surround, 3 screws around the gearstick, two above the heater controls under the stereo. Then 4 screws for the cubby with the cigarette lighter in, and a good shove as it clips in

Nope, there's two bits of plastic trim directly under the stereo that are clip-in pieces. Remove those to get to the screws
