Hello guys !
I have a problem and it maybe something normal with my bravo 150 t-jet manual
When I'm on 2nd or 3rd gear with full throttle opened and shift to 3rd or 4th gear the turbo boosts full and also the fuel injection ( I'll tell why I do know that ) there seems to be weak accelerating on about 3000 rpm
So seems to be there is a misfire happening
Spark plugs is 2 or 3 months old ( New )
The reason I know that fuel injection is ok because loud bangs comes out from the exhaust ( I did it like that )
Any suggestions please ?!
Thanks.

So you're dumping excess fuel into the cylinders to make a bang in the exhaust?

If that is the case, I'd be looking at the cat... Unless you decatted as well?

No ! I didn't do that
Fuel pressure is the same from manufacturer
The bangs are because I have a new sport exhaust and decatted the cat... yes
So the case is about a misfire somewhere I think
No errors on OBD also

I think you actualy don't have a problem,
Noise in exhaust is a bit worrying .. but you say you've got a sport exhaust, no CAT..etc

I think hat you are feeling is probably the car coming off overboost.
So instead of the massive torque you feel for a few seconds when first accelerating (when the turbo boosts to ~1.2 bar) you will feel as the car is slowing down because torque is slightly decreasing at about that rpm (~0.7 bar; all cars will be different regardless of what FIAT torque/rpm claims are)
Going even higher in the rev range the intake/turbo pressure will be even smaller .. so even less torque.

You just have to take a look at the Power/Torque graph to have an idea.

Thanks for your replay dude
Actually I had my bravo 2 years ago and I can feel that it's not normal
Anyway. When I drive it for fun like just pops and bangs the problem appears
Another thing. I have a problem in the engine ecu that doesn't run till I disconnect it and the OBD shows ( eprom fault )
So can the problem be from the ecu that doesn't read informations right?

Lol
This problem with ecu I had it 8 months ago so may it's not the cause of that new issue
