Hi everyone!

My heater resistor for the fan in the coupe has burned. I can't find one for the bravo but one that looks identical for the Stilo. My question is do the Stilo use the same resistor as the bravo?

Then I will order the one for the stilo and try with that. It only costs 10 euro. I report back when I installed it.

It work with the resistor from the Stilo if anyone ever need to know that.

Very easy it's in the footwell , you unplug the switch to the heaterfan. Undo one screw you need a 5.5mm socket and there it is.

You see two switches here it's the bigger one under the heater fan.IMAG0064.jpg

Where abouts is the blower in the foot well as I have had a look and removed a panel under the glove box and I saw only a metal pole or some sort of mount do I need to remove the glove box as my resistor has gone blower only works on 4 lol

Ok you probably are in UK, then your heater fan would be in drivers side foot well I guess..

You have pictures in this thread. Like earlier in this thread you just have to undo one screw 5.5mm and then pull it out. I don't think I can be more precise.

Re: Bravo 2010 Heater resistor

Hi, first time. I am helping a friend. the blower has stopped working completely. I have read this and others and they all talk of the 'resistor pack'. My question is: the model we have has the electronic climate control setup. The place where the resistor pack should be has a blank covering the hole - done in the factory, not afterwards. Do this model have a resistor pack? If it does, where is it? Is there anything else that could stop the blower working?

Thanks.

Hi
I think the electronic climate control doesn't have an resistor, but not completely sure..

Have you checked the fuses?

There's a full description of the electronic climate control in the Bravo eLEARN:

https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php?do=download&downloadid=353

This is what it says about the blower fan:

E6020 AIR CONDITIONING (Automatic air conditioning)

The fan N85 (with built-in electronic speed adjustment) receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT/A) from the line protected by fuse F31 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2 and controlled by relay T8 and dedicated fuse F8 of the engine compartment junction unit B1; it receives an input control signal from the control unit for the various speeds from pin 11 of connector C of M70 and returns a feedback signal to pin 8 of connector A of M70.

So check fuse F31 (dashboard fuse box) and fuse F8 and relay T8 (engine compartment fuse box). If these are ok check the wiring and connector on the motor for signs of overheating, then check whether the motor is receiving power and test the motor itself.

Dear Thomaz

Good morning. Thank you for the information. We have just managed to remove the blower from the housing - no easy task!!!! with the steering column and clutch pedal. In the end we removed the black plastic housing from the motor while still in the hole.

With climate control model you have the solid state resister unit attached to the black plastic motor housing with the 3 connectors. Is there any way checking the resistor unit? The motor works great powered direct to 12v.

Hi,
The climate control does not have the resistor pack, it uses electronic control. Fault could be:
Fuse,
Fan motor

Bad connection

Electronic control unit

First check the fuses. Next disconnect the fan motor and connect it directly to the battery and see if it runs. If not you need a new motor. If it runs check the fan wiring back to ECU, fuse and ground. If that is OK its probably a faulty ECU.

Does anyone know where I can pickup a Denso Heater Resistor Unit A.430.008.00. See attached pictures.

Thanks.
