Re: Bravo 2010 Heater resistor

Dear Robert

Thanks for the input. As you can see from the pictures I have just posted, the climate model does have a 'type of Resistor unit' - it is solid state, attached to the side of the motor housing.

Re: Bravo 2010 Heater resistor

There's a full description of the electronic climate control in the Bravo eLEARN:

https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php?do=download&downloadid=353

This is what it says about the blower fan:

E6020 AIR CONDITIONING (Automatic air conditioning)

The fan N85 (with built-in electronic speed adjustment) receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT/A) from the line protected by fuse F31 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2 and controlled by relay T8 and dedicated fuse F8 of the engine compartment junction unit B1; it receives an input control signal from the control unit for the various speeds from pin 11 of connector C of M70 and returns a feedback signal to pin 8 of connector A of M70.

So check fuse F31 (dashboard fuse box) and fuse F8 and relay T8 (engine compartment fuse box). If these are ok check the wiring and connector on the motor for signs of overheating, then check whether the motor is receiving power and test the motor itself.
Dear Pickwick

I am trying to open the .rar files you supplied a link to. When you un-zip them, they are saking for a password. can you help with that?

Thanks.

Re: Bravo 2010 Heater resistor

Hi,
You have to download all the RAR files to one folder and then decompress them (by selecting the first file) to single ISO file and then burn that to a CD-ROM. You don't say what "zip" software you are using. Many, don't work with multipart RAR files. I use the free version of 7-Zip which works OK.

Definitely no password needed. As Robert suggests in his previous post this could be a problem with the software you are using to extract the iso from the rar files. I use 7-Zip too. Once all the files are in the same folder, right-click "New Bravo eLEARN.part01.rar" then "7-Zip" then "Extract Here". There's also a "Test Archive" option in the same menu - useful to verify none of the files have been corrupted during the download.

As an alternative to the above there is a version of the Bravo eLEARN online here:

Automatic air conditioning is described here:
