Hi,
My car overrevs when I hit the accelerator hard, particularly in 3rd-4th gears - engine revs climb very quickly but car doesn't accelerate. Think it could be the clutch.
Can anyone point me in the direction of an online store that will ship to Australia.

Looking at this site:
http://www.bestpartstore.co.uk/fiat/bravo-ii-198/23226/10151-repair-kit-clutch-complete

But not sure if I would need the whole clutch kit, or which one of these clutches would even be right for the car.

Any advice would be appreciated :)

Give me your VIN i i will look up the part numbers for you, some of them are on the Opel/Vauxhall s cars to ... might find them that way.

The clutch kit comes just with a clutch disk and pressure plate; You might also need the clutch thrust bearing (its also the hydraulic slave cylinder) and the flywheel. DMF.

Hey thanks! VIN is ZFA19800004124786

I'm going to get it checked out by a mechanic to see exactly what the problem is - but parts here in Australia are ridiculous, up to 3 times as much as importing by myself.

Appreciate the help.
Cheers!

clutch kit: 55219388
slave cylinder with pressure bearing: 55209342
flywheel: 55209664

Those are the original part numbers that have been installed in your car, according to the VIN numbers.

Thanks - appreciate it. I'll see how I go, fingers crossed it's just the clutch and not the flywheel as well.
Cheers!

The mechanic has said he needs to replace the flywheel as it is dual mass? - I think without actually looking because it's apparently a big job to do. He says about 7 hours labour. Reckons I should also replace the slave cylinder.
Does that sound right?
