Hi Everyone
Hope all is well?
I've owned and loved my 1997 Fiat Bravo 1.4 Active since 2011, having instantly fallen head over heels for her. She is my pride and joy and although I ask a lot of her, my beloved Bravo never complains and despite her age and mileage, still gets me where I need to be, without fail.
So, imagine my dismay when, upon filling up today, the soft and rubbery 'string' that secures the fuel filler cap to the covering door snapped. Does anyone know if I need to replace the whole filler cap in order to replace the string, or can I just buy the string and attach it in the existing holdings? I wouldn't normally worry, but A) I love my car and want to keep her in as good a condition as possible, and B) I'm clumsy by nature, so the filler cap falling onto the ground and getting crushed by another car at the petrol station will be inevitable.
Does anyone have any advice at all please?
thanks a lot everyone, and hope you can help
