Hi all,

Lately I have an issue with the automatic twozone climatecontrol. Once I put this on a temperature between 16 and 20 degrees I notice it goes to the slowest fan speed and nothing happens. (olthough outside temp is hot enough to switch the airco in at least to middle speed). When I put it to LOW it starts to cool straight away. Last year the airco had a full check up and was okay. What could this be? I think mechanically it seems to be fine, so I would think about a sensor somewhere. Where to look and how to fix.

Could it be the buble in the middel of the dash? Not so long ago I wipped the dash and knocked this plastic bubble from the dash.

small update, when ac is turned off a horrible smell is coming from the ventilator as well. Bleghh please help

What sort of smell? Mouldy? Burning?

I'd start by replacing the filter.

bad odors usually come from mold on the evaporator. This requires a special cleaning , best by professionals . And replace at least annually the interior filter .

It smells moldy indeed. which is strange since in December it had a full proffesional cleaning and maintenance.once the ac kicks in on low the smell is gone. The smell is the least of my concern, I am more anoyed by the fact that the automatic part puts directly the fan on 0 speed and the aqs on intern. Sometimes it does change to extern but not often enough. So the ac cools on low but not as of 16,5 degrees by outside temperatuurs between 20 and 28 degrees.
