Hey

So today my brother was driving our car picking our mum up from work when he adjusted the sun visor (driver side), then all of a sudden it fell off. We have tried in vein for an hr to get it back in with no luck at all. We unscrewed the little plastic bit that is attached to the roof to see if anything had fallen off. The little twisty thing that slots into the small hole in the small plastic thing in the roof wont stay connected so to speak. I have a 2007 Bravo 1.9 diesel.

Has anyone any ideas where I can buy a complete new visor? I'm guessing the Fiat dealership will be best place but our nearest one I think is over 12miles away. We should of had one nearer to us but it's still being built. I live in the MK40 area...does anyone know the nearest dealership or a site where I can buy the new visor?

I dunno how it broke...very strange.

Mine broke off @ c. 1000 mls, without any rough treatment/only driver, not covered under warranty as it was 'only cosmetic'.
Bought a new one from a Fiat main dealer for Euro50 (I'm in Ireland) and fitted it myself.

www.shop4parts.co.uk who advertise on this site have a driver's side sun visor listed for £45.06 plus vat.

Iirc other members have had to replace sun visors, one managed to repair his.

P.s I doubt it's your brother's fault, there was a difference in stiffness of operation between my original which broke and the genuine replacement, sounds like Fiat modified this part.....

Al.

It's a bad design!
I changed both driver's and passenger one in 5th and 7th year of my Bravo.
