Picked up my Bravo 150 two weeks ago and at the time I decided it would remain completely original...:ROFLMAO:

That lasted until I ordered a K&N filter (element not ind kit) and wind deflectors. the deflectors are fitted however as you probably know the drivers wheel needs to come off to access the air filter, little bit difficult with no locking wheel nut key . new one ordered from a Fiat dealer on eBay should be here soon

After a bit more poking underneath, discovered the rear exhaust hanger was broken and the silencer itself was badly corroded, Its now booked in for 3rd April at longlife exhausts to get s/steel midsection and silencer made up.

Oh and Ive also just ordered a HID kit, (I know they can be hit or miss but pleny of people have them with no issues)

Did you like it that much that you blew a load all over it?

Yeah I erm dont want to talk about it... but basically yes :p

Ive been thinking about getting a HID kit as the stock H7's no matter what lamps i put in are total ****!

Which kit did you buy?

Also are these the wind deflectors that you brought? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wind-Defl...135?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2c6e4ffa07

they are rubbing off on me and i want them :(

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360396009228?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26ghostText%3D%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D360396009228%26_rdc%3D1

this is the HID kit, been recommended by a few people on here, found the standard lights usable although nothing special

thats the wind deflectors I got but from a different seller, only issue is that the passenger rear window catches on the way up

Thanks man, I take it you put the H1 version up by mistake? Unless your main mean is different lamps to mine? But as we all know fiat works in mysterious ways!

Honestly didn't think about it, though eurocarparts says H1 and a copy of the manual I have says H1 as well so surely all bravo versions are...right???

Apologies! I confused my self with my old punto! Which were all H7's.

Just checked my previous lamp orders and they were H1's

Sorry if I caused a mini heart attack!

HID kit arrived today and I have to ask but...

is that it??? just hook the spade connectors up to the OE wiring and secure it all??

Locking wheel nut key arrived as well...was the wrong one

Yes that looks the same as mine, I had to take the washer bottle neck off to give a little bit more room to get into the wires and the bulb clip was a bit of a bitch to get over the hid bulb as they are slightly wider

You can take the washer bottle neck off? I was going to remove the bumper and take the head lights out to have a better chance of not raping the lamps!

Doesn't look like the hardest bulbs I've ever changed (peugeot 206 drivers side) even my old grande was a bit of a 'mare, not as easy as a jag xf though 3 bolts to whip out the light unit done & dusted in about 5 mins...

Could you take some pictures on when you are changing the Air Filter ? Guide ?

Yes, it's pretty easy to take it off. It just pulls out. I did it when fitting my HId's, however! Good luck putting it back on. It's incredibly difficult. In fact I'm sure mine still isn't in correctly.

I don't know about yours but when I unclip it the bottle moves about half and inch! **** takeee

Yeh mine does that too. The worst is when fitting it back you can't get your hand below the bottle to hold it steady. So as you attempt to force it back in the whole bottle just moves. To the point where it feels like it's going to break off into your engine bay

I shall be giving these a bash tomorrow, but before i do ill be rubbing down the mounts and spraying them to prevent rust and ****!

Well, i just installed them, took me about 30mins!

I started by sanding down the mounts and sprayed them with some black stone chip to help protect against rust.

Drivers Side

Once they were dry i checked where i could mount the ballast on the drivers side and luckily there was a already existing 5/6mm thread (shown by the red circle) so i found some roofing bolts and attached the mount. Sadly though doing this only showed how weak and flimsy the mounts are which in time would just snap!

So out came the cable ties/tie wraps/zip ties, 2 end to end then wrapped round the lower half of the ballast (shown by the yellow) after pulling them right they were rock solid!

The actuall installation of the lamp is straight forward, but before you connect anything up make sure you cut the rubber cover to fit nice and tight and not lose like my first attempt! (of to Ebay i go).

As for the lamp its just a case of putting in the new lamp, pushing the clip down (it is hard to get it to click back down so be patient) and putting the + and - leads into the ballast and putting the rubber cover back on!

Hey presto! You can blind every one

Passengers Side

Its the same as above but abit more tricky because of the lack of room!

It helped to unclip the screen wash bottle but is still very tricky to get it done, just be patient with alot of poking your head in to see whats going on.

As for mounting the ballast i used one of the bolts (shown in red) holding the side panel on by bending the mount 90 degrees and slotting it between the two panels then screwing the bolt back down nice and tight.

But the same as the drivers side, it flopped around like a wet fish! so again i used 2 cable ties end to end and wrapped it round the lower part of the ballast to make it solid! (shown in yellow)

Hopefully that will help you when installing them, if you need any help with them just ask.

Only time will tell if they are better then my Philips night breakers or W/E they are called

Just fitted my HID's so we'll find out tonight how far out the alignment is (will we judge it on how many other cars I blind or if I end up in a ditch :p )

on the downside my foglights and sidelights now look s**t and must be changed to match the headlights, so umm any suggestions??
