Hi all,

I have a rusted passenger side wing, and currently have 2 options:

- £40 uncoloured panel from ebay
- £80 new part in correct colour

The question: How much would it cost to spay the uncoloured part? And would buy the pre-sprayed panel stand out badly next to the other panels with out the paintwork being blended in? The car is an 07 plate, so obvious wear and tear to paintwork on other panels for a car of that age.

Thoughts very welcome. Thanks!

I would drift towards the £40 one that needs spraying. It may cost more to get it sprayed than buy one already done but it will match exactly. There's nothing worse than walking up to a car with an obvious mis matched colour you'll just kick yourself and wish you had done it properly. unless of course your not bothered about such things...... I'm a little OCD about stuff like that :D

I would take the already painted one.

The wing is not angled the same as the door so any small difference in color will not be visible.

in the unlikely case of it being a problem, it's much cheaper to repaint it than painting a blank new one.
