Hello

Recently bought a Bravo, 57 Plate, 1.9 Active MJET 120... just found this forum
Sorry if any of this has been discussed before, please point me in the right direction...

Just got a few questions.

1 - while playing with the radio, found an AUX option, cant seem to find any AUX ports or any USB etc, so most likely need to retrofit this option.

been looking on ebay for fiat bravo 2007 aux adapters and come accross a few cables which are cheap and seem to be a cheap retrofit.

Is it a plug and play with the ebay link below, e.g. remove steriod, plug into CD changer port and feed cable to glovebox and enjoy?

Found something even more interesting...

A USB-SD-SDHC-MP3-CD-Changer-AUX-In-Adapter-Radio-Fiat-New-Bravo-2007-2011-/110920327779?hash=item19d35de263 - found this item on ebay which seems to be the same, but allows USB, 3.5mm Jack and SD card to be plugged in and played via the CD changer port.

Anyone fitted one of these devices and can share if its plug and play in the CD changer port and any problems, worth fitting....

I want to keep the car as OEM as possible.

Any other small mods anyone can suggest.

Also while driving found the fog lights being turned on to assist when turning in dark, e.g. like adaptive lighting... seems like a good hidden feature i wasnt aware before buying the car.

Can anyone point out any other hidden features which could be interesting.?

Sorry for the long post...... :)

Hello

We also have follow me headlights, wgen you next get home in the dark turn off the engine and take out the key then pull the headlight stalk towards you and your headlights will stay on for 30 seconds allowing you to unlock your house door etc with some added light.

Also: comfort/automatic turn signals, just push the lever part-way to the left or the right and the turn lights will flash 5 times....also the cornering lights will come on if your speed is under ~40km/h.

The armrest can slide forward. I discovered that by accident two years after buying the car.

You can stash a lot of things under the rear seats. there's a huge gap between them and the steel frame.

You can manually set the EQ bars on the stereo and not just use the preset EQ like on most other cars.

Did not know this :bang:

This made my day!

Yeah you can flick the lights as if flashing somebody gt goes up to 120 seconds which is cool,

My bad just seen other comment lol

Tried it when I got home from work tonight. Great little feature love it

If you from wipers are on and you put the car in reverse the back wiper will come on.

Not sure if it works on an Active but definitely does on a Dynamic model like mine. When you're outside of the car holding down the unlock button on your keys will open any electric windows you have. They will keep rolling down until you stop holding the button, it also closes the windows if you hold the lock button. On mine all 4 windows do this. On sport models the front two only do this as the back ones are manual windows (unless the original buyer paid for rear electric windows)

Another thing is in the settings. There's an auto lock feature for when you're driving. It will automatically lock the doors when you drive above 20mph stopping anyone from being able to get in the car. It doesn't stop you getting out though as you can just pull your door handle and it unlocks all the doors this is ease of mind for me as my daughter sits in the back and if someone opened the rear door whilst I was sat in traffic there's not a lot I can do about it. Scary thoughts.

Other parent conscious things are the child locks on the passenger doors. And also on mine I have a button that stops the electric windows being activated from the back. So my daughter can't play with the windows but I can still control them from my door.

The auto rear wiper thing does my box in!

'Hidden' compartment under passenger seat and some have a 'fridge' in arm rest too :)

The "fridge" amuses me, because if you turn the heating on anything slightly warm (in mine anyway) it heats right up, turning your perfectly chilled coke can into a nasty warm disgusting can of sugar.

Exactly. Very poor design that. On the Stilo you had a little vent blocker to turn it off, so you didn't have a piping hot can of Coke :p

Now that would be a small sneaky mod for the Bravo, a vent blocker for the can cooler.
Mods I made to my Bravo (in order):
- hand brake plastic :https://www.fiatforum.com/bravo/311374-handbrake-plastic-2.html
-install cruise control
- hood lifters https://www.fiatforum.com/bravo/250895-bonnet-lifters.html
-install aux..if not fitted.
-DIY shortshift : https://www.fiatforum.com/bravo/340208-m32-gearbox-short-shifter.html
-Install a Stilo 12v plug in the back for the back passengers and can also be used if i have something in the trunk... will post pictures soon.
-Install a second lamp in the trunk .. originally from a Stilo.. but is the exact part as the Bravo.. so now i have one on the left and one on the right... also i still need to wire that and take some pictures.

Another light related feature is the sidelights, say for instance you park with your car half on a curb. Turn the engine of and set the lights to the sidelight setting, then put the indicator stalk to the side that you want the sidelights on. This will turn on only the sidelights on one side :)

Im thinking on doing this with the ciggy and 2 usb lighter combo to make it more user friendly for the rear passengers, how hard is it to remove the middle shroud to rung the cables?
