Pretty sure there for night vision , but would look stupid if on all the time so as I'm not sure , think I'll go for camera without led,

If I could just splice into reverse cable without any faults I would go for the led

Why would that cause a fault though? Just find what fuse the back light is using and use a piggy back fuse holder to split it from the fuse box?

I'm actually going to piggy back onto the cigar fuse.

Its the canbus system when you tap into the light wiring, it shows a fault in the dash although their isnt actually any fault ,
I'm assuming tapping into the fuse would cause the same error , I'll maybe try that out though,
because I've not tried anything out yet , just going on what I've managed to find online

Try doing it from the fuse box first seems like the best option in my eyes maybe won't cause canbus error and also ads a extra line of saftey as you will be fusing it. Let me know how it goes. Do you know how to use the pigggy back fuse holders? YouTube it

Just thinking , taking tap from reverse light fuse would be same as taking tap from any ignition live ,
I may have to wait a little bit longer anyway clutch is playing up
Here's the reverse camera I was originally planning to get
