how do all, I picked our new (to us) fiat bravo 58 plate 1.4 T-jet sport 150 in Maserati blue last night, I'll get some pics up at the weekend when it's better light to take a picture. Top vehicle been looking for around 4 months for the right one to come up.

Now the only issue I have is the drivers side front window, it will one touch up but when It gets to the top it goes straight back down and stops about a third from fully opening. I'm guessing it's lost it's park position but unsure how to solve this I've had a look but can't really find anything, can anybody help please

Open the window completely, then close it while holding down the button, keep holding the button for 5 sec. after the window has closed. That should reset the auto function.
You can do this on all the windows. I've had to do it, every time the battery has been disconnected.

Just checked the manual downloaded from http://aftersales.fiat.com/elum/Mod...a1f2&market_code=EN_EU&cat=lib&part_number=#1
On page 78 there's a procedure for "Window safety system initialisation". It's basically what I wrotem except it's just 1 sec., not 5.

Try what santa recommended.

If that doesn't solve the problem there might be a problem with the anti-pinch system even something like catching on something..or bad seals making the window harder to glide.
You can try some silicone spray on the rubber seals and guides, let dry and try again.

sweet already tried what santa has said (I think) ive tried what the manual says nut I never held it for the 5 seconds as it goes straight back down. failing that ill re grease the runners and try the above again.

cheers for the help guys

If it goes straight down again, the problem could be what aurick86 is describing.

You should also disconnect the battery for 30 minutes as to reset the windows.. then do as santa mentioned.

Also check if there isn't som dirt inside the rubber. Had the same problem, but solved it by cleaning the rubber.
