Sections, couple screws for the air filter part, once your underneath it's easy to work out which ones.

Just wanted to say cheers chaps for your input,I just been out now to see if I can do it myself didn't want to buy a filter then be like Hmmm,
Anyhow me being me rather go out find out how to get at it.in the end used jack and stand,found it easy to be fair took me a while just to get the one that's in there out,but now I know what I am up too,next time I recon 10 mins,would say I did find it easier to take a couple of screws from inside the wheel arch plastic protector to see the one nut which is a right swine to get at but apart from that straight forward to get at it underneath there's the guard which 2 screws inside the wheel arch and it just swivels out of the way,

Finally k&n filter now ordered and I now know what I am up to with that.chuffed

Hi - I realise this is an older thread, but I was just wondering if you knew what the neck size of the air filter is for 2.0 MJet?

Looked around online and cant seem to find it and i dont want to take the air filter out to measure it - too cold out side

Am I correct in saying the inside diameter/neck size is 96mm?
