The cam belt on my 2011 Bravo 1,9 jtd sport broke the other day. The car had done 61000 km (about 38000 m) and is 5 months out of warranty.
It is difficult to get Fiat NZ to engage on repairing.
I was wondering if members on here may be able to advise of the responsiveness of Fiat in their countries in similar circumstances

If it's out of warranty then I don't suppose they will pay for the repairs. If you need the car back quickly I'd pay them for the repairs and then start a claim with them to get the money back as it was so close to warranty and shouldn't really of failed. I'm guessing it was the same Belt fitted during it's manufacture?
