I'm pretty sure my Air Con gas thing needs replacing (if that's not what it's called can someone correct me- the thing that makes it go cold!!) There's very little difference when I turn it onto 'LO' compared to 16 degrees.

Anyhow, I have a 2008 Bravo. Can someone give me an idea of the price I should be paying? I'll obviously google when I find out what I should be googling, but if people could give me a ball park price, I will at least know whether I'm being taken for a ride so to speak.

Is it difficult to change yourself? I'm not a mechanic by any means, but like to think i can follow a set of instructions.

if its gone its leaked so you need a profesional to look at the system imo, no good just putting in more gas if its just going to come out again.

Yeah its a sealed system if there is no gas you have problems. The re-gassing of air-con really only applies to old air-con units.

OK, thanks for the info. I'll get my usual garage to have a look into it when I have time.
