Technical Loss of power, No ASR ESP Hill Holder control

So I was driving along when I feel the car backfire and I get all those warnings on the dashboard and a HUUGEE loss in power. so I turn off the car and turn it back on again and all the warnings are gone except for the check engine light, but everything is back to normal, what do could have done that???

Sounds like the car has logged the error reports. Instead of guessing and stabbing aimlessly into the dark pop around your local garage and ask them to read the error codes on the ECU. that should narrow it down.

You could get an obd2 scanner off of eBay for a few bucks... can do your own scans...
