I was plodding along the other day at around 60 mph with the cruise control on when I got the check engine message and the Cruise Control. The car then had very little power. After about 4 miles the power returned to normal.
After stopping and starting the car again the cruise control started to work again. The check engine message cleared itself.
The stored codes were - P2243 (Lambda Sensor), P0235 (Boost Pressure Sensor) and P0130 (Lambda Sensor). Apparantly the two errors relating to the Lamda Sensor did not turn on the engine warning message. The message was caused by the Boost Pressure Sensor code.
Any ideas?
I did replace the MAP sensor a couple of months ago with a pretty cheap after market part. Could this be the issue?
The car drives fine although there is a fair bit of turbo lag below around 1400rpm.
