Hi
I'm wondering if anyone can help. I have a bravo 2.0 165 sport and I need a replacement osf shock absorber. I can't seem to find it anywhere, I've tried fiat themselves and they have it on back order but could be a couple of months. Anyone know of anyone breaking a bravo sport or where I can get the part??
Cheers

Try Shop4parts:

http://www.shop4parts.co.uk/

If it isn't listed then call them or email them. They should be able to sort it out easily.

UPDATE: Just checked they are listed.

Thanks, I looked everywhere I could think of and even called up some aftermarket companies and they told me they haven't started making them yet :/ shop4parts can have it here early next week and is less than half the price through fiat :)

Hello,

Bump. Has anyone found suitable replacement shock absorbers for the sport trim (beside mentioned topline)?

Can anyone confirm that chassis "198_" is the sport variant?

Thank you.

Hello,

Browsing ePER i am suspecting that only springs are sport trim specific. Both shock absorbers (front/back) seem to be the same for 1.6/1.9/2.0 models. Will do some measuring today and if diameters are the same just buy regular ones.

Look on ebay.it

Most of the sellers seem to be uk based

( was looking for a Tipo yesterday..)

Hello,

ebay.it (or any other) is not really helpful. Most of search results explicitly adds that they are not for sport version, even thou part number matches (50710779). So i guess i will have to disassemble it today and measure diameter and length.

You wanted other manufacturers..

I thought you would compare the stated dimensions.. and cross reference with the manufacturer sites.. maybe thats just me.

Quick update.

Done some additional research and it turns out only Sachs makes shock absorbers compatible with the sport model. Difference is in width at the bottom, where they are fixed. So if anyone is looking for a replacement, search for Sachs 314627. I bought them from Autodoc, 50€ a piece. Fitted them today and they are practically identical to original ones.

Here are two pictures from a local Fiat forum that show the difference (standard/sport):
