Not too difficult for the confident DIYer, need to remove airbag and steering wheel and then the stalk assay (y)

Thanks guys i think might just live with the fact that rear washer jets dont work . its unbelievable to have 2008 fiat and mechanical things like the stalks and other things to go so early on ,

5 years? nah not really, just think how many times the contacts in that switch has been operated etc.....are you sure the switch is at fault?

p.s. do they work if you pull/push harder on the switch?

p.p.s. you said front washers then rear:confused:

If it really is the front washers you have the problem with, then I share T's idea that you should pull the switch harder. My front washers regularly work only on the second pull . - been like it for 4 years now.
At MOT I make sure I'm around the mot tester to demonstrate they really do work as one time the tester shouted to me that they had failed. My demonstration sprayed both me and him and I then got a pass certificate!

Lol , fiats have mind of there own I was doing that, pulling the stalk harder it worked for a while and then stopped I have now swapped the washer pipes round so if you push down it should normally spray the back screen but its reversed so it washes the front screen bit weird but dnt mind passes mot and saves me buying new switch.

Sorry t yes it was originally the front washers that didn't work, now have swapped pipes over so front works fine but rear has stopped .

Correct is there any way I can stop that from happening ?

Ok thanks , is it worth buying a second hand switch seen some on the bay or do I buy brand new ?
