Hi all, just wanting a bit of advice about my Bravo purchase. I picked it up on the 22nd of December 2012 and I am still waiting for the V5C document. Should I be worried? On the day I picked it up I can't remember signing anything but from reading some posts online and on the DVLA website, I should have signed a part of the V5C and given a V5C/2. Any advice on what to do next will be great.

Thanks

I bought it used from.....not sure exactly if it is a dealer or trader. Certainly not private though. The company is called ''prestigemotorsdirect''.

I wouldn't worry too much since it's a dealer (or less anyway) and give them a ring, make sure they've done all on their end. Then as MEP says, get onto the DVLA.

I haven't got any slip and will be really angry if I have to pay £25 to get the car registered, considering I handed in all the documents for the car I part exchanged and they changed the ownership of that vehicle soon after. Can I still get this green slip from the dealer or is a case of them not having it from the start and that's why I wasn't given it when I bought the car? Let's just say at the moment I am really angry at the dealer as all they do is make all sort of promises, non of which they have kept!

You've broken golden rule number 1 unfortunatly, Never trust the dealer to do the paperwork. You should have sent of the bit you're required to from your vehicle you traded in (probably floating about the system atm still registered to you) and you should have got the green slip section.

I wouldn't hold your breath of the dealer having it, but might be worth getting them to cover the £25.
