Oh dear. My first gear has started making a whining that gets higher pitched with the revs. Sounds somewhat like a straight-cut gearbox (rally car noise).
This can't be good, especially when I've got like £2k worth of mods ready to go on the car.

is one of those 2k mods a close ratio box? or any box for that matter? pretty sure a 6spd stilo one will fit it...same car

Been struggling to find any garages that are interested in helping me.
Finally found a small garage very local to me that are going to take a look at the clutch, flywheel and gear system to see if they can work out what's wrong.

Depending on the severity of this problem I may be getting rid of the car.
