Hi all,

I am thinking of getting a Fiat Bravo but was wondering what sort of range you would get on the following models of you filled the tank to the brim and ran it until empty:

1.4 Tjet 120 Dynamic
1.6 Eco Dynamic
1.9 Diesil Dynamic

many thanks

From my 1.9 16v sport (150) i get around 550-600 miles on a run from one tank. Around 450-500 miles around town, depending on how you drive of corse. Expect around 20-40 miles per tank extra from the 1.9 8v (120) :)

On my 1.6 Eco it depends on what kind of driving I'm doing.
With normal commuting making the bulk of the time I'll get between 550 and 600 miles before I decide to fill up - about 54mpg.

If I'm doing motorway driving it's easy to add 10% to that but I rarely do a whole tank full.
A year or so back I did Birmingham to Edinburgh and back, plus a bit of sightseeing and hit 700 miles.

My 1.9 Mjet 120 can manage 700+ miles on a single tank.
Providing a) it's a long drive or two and b) this is mostly motorway miles - no roundabouts or lights, etc
Oh, and also sticking to about 60 - 65 mph. This is on the 5-speed model, the 6-speed could probably manage even more.

there is more to consider than fuel range, they all share 60 litre tanks

you need to work out true cost per mile including fuel, servicing, tyres and cost to buy/residual value

also consider the type of journeys you do most
for example at 67 mph my tjet sport 150 does 46 mpg, around town that drops to 32 mpg

mines the 1.4 16v petrol (no turbo *sadface*) at the minute with 46,000 exactly on the clock and a mahoozive service due im getting about 35-40 MPG = between 320 - 400Mi Per tank
